Karli Holmes, Carly Perdew and Mia Cardello helped Arapahoe secure its second girls 5A title in three years at the Colorado High School Activities Association state championship meet at Norris Penrose Events Center in Colorado Springs. Arapahoe had five scorers in the top 18 to knock off defending champion Cherry Creek by a 42-60 margin, improving the Warriors' lead in the season series to 5-3 against the Bruins, with both teams also scheduled to race again Dec. 4 at the RunningLane Championships in Huntsville, Ala.
