Emily Lamontagne, a junior at Arapahoe High in Colorado, ran a personal-best 4:50.04 to place fifth in the girls mile championship at Nike Outdoor Nationals at Hayward Field in Eugene, Ore. Lamontagne also secured seventh place in the girls 2-mile competition, clocking 10:19.68 to achieve another personal-best performance.
